Tate’s Art Now: Celebrating Emerging Talent for 30 years
Art Now at Tate Britain marks its 30th anniversary of championing emerging artists and shaping the landscape of contemporary art.
Since the 1990s, Art Now has played a pivotal role in championing emerging artists, providing a platform for those who have gone on to shape contemporary British art. Alumni include Turner Prize winners Jesse Darling and Cooking Sections, as well as Hurvin Anderson, Ed Atkins, and Tacita Dean.
The 2025 programme features two major exhibitions. The first, opening on the 28th February 2025, showcases Hylozoic/Desires (Himali Singh Soin and David Soin Tappeser), whose work explores ecology, time, and speculative futures through sound and performance. Later in the year, Onyeka Igwe will present a new body of work examining history, memory, and the archive.
The Bukhman Foundation is proud to be the lead supporter of Art Now for the programme’s 30th anniversary year, championing its continued impact on the future of British art.
